The Role The Studio Design Lead plays a pivotal role, serving as both a Project Manager and the guiding force behind the aesthetic and design direction of all office projects. You’ll be the steward of design standards, ensuring consistency, innovation, and beauty across a portfolio of high-profile hospitality projects. In this role, you will: Oversee design development and review all projects before they advance to the Design Director. Lead client presentations and provide continual design feedback to project teams. Establish and implement firm-wide presentation and design standards. Build and strengthen client relationships while consistently driving satisfaction. Set and manage client expectations, while fostering lasting partnerships. Mentor and inspire design teams, creating an environment of collaboration, growth, and accountability. Pioneer processes that optimize workflow, productivity, and creative outcomes. Qualifications 6+ years of experience in 4–5 star hospitality projects. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Interior Architecture. Proven ability to lead design teams, manage client interactions, and uphold project financials. Mastery of AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Cloud. Strong organizational skills, accountability, and the ability to roll up your sleeves to work side-by-side with the team. A passion for delivering design excellence while cultivating strong relationships. Success in This Role Means: Establishing a high standard of design excellence.
