About The Exercise CoachThe Exercise Coach is a mission‑driven, tech‑forward personal training studio delivering measurable strength, mobility, and wellness results through two 20‑minute, coach‑led sessions per week. We invest in your growth with paid training, company‑funded certifications, proprietary technology, and clear career paths — all without the burnout of a traditional gym.
Core Purpose of the RoleDeliver safe, measurable one‑on‑one and small‑group strength and mobility sessions using TEC methodology and Exerbotics technology; build trusting long‑term client relationships; and support studio growth through consultative, outcome‑focused sales and exceptional service.
What Success Looks LikeClients improve strength and mobility, stay long‑term, and refer others; tours convert to memberships; studio KPIs (retention, conversion, NPS) meet or exceed targets; and coaches complete internal certifications while maintaining a professional, data‑driven studio environment.
About the Role — Studio ManagerThe Studio Manager leads daily operations, develops and supports the coaching team, ensures an exceptional client experience, and drives studio growth. This role requires a highly organized, communicative, servant‑minded leader who thrives in a collaborative, people‑focused environment.
Responsibilities
Client Intake & Coaching Support
  • Conduct consultations, record baseline metrics, and set measurable goals.
  • Lead safe, effective 20‑minute strength workouts and coach‑assisted stretch sessions; adjust programming using real‑time data.
  • Log results, review reports, and teach recovery and healthy habits.
  • Follow up with clients, re‑engage missed sessions, and build rapport to increase retention and referrals.
  • Ensure outstanding client service and a consistent studio experience.
Growth & Sales
  • Run tours and intro sessions; recommend memberships and packages aligned with client goals.
  • Close consultative, outcome‑focused sales and track conversion metrics.
  • Monitor retention, sales, and satisfaction KPIs.
  • Support local marketing and community outreach.
  • Collaborate with the owner on monthly goals and business expansion.
Operations & Administration
  • Maintain a clean, organized studio and uphold brand standards.
  • Manage scheduling, staffing, and daily operations.
  • Handle client accounts, payments, communications, CRM tasks, and administrative duties.
Leadership & Culture
  • Hire, lead, train, and develop the coaching team.
  • Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive studio culture.
  • Demonstrate empathy and warmth — especially with older adults — and model professionalism and productivity.
  • Maintain a cooperative and “team” mentality at all times.
  • Demonstrate the value of our brand by actively participating in our fitness program
Requirements
  • Leadership, management, or supervisory experience.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Interest in health, fitness, and wellness.
  • Availability for full‑time hours with schedule flexibility.
  • Personal training certification is a plus, not required.
  • Experience in sales or customer service is a strong advantage.
Coach‑Specific Requirements & Preferred Qualifications
  • Required: CPR/AED; TEC + Nutrition Playbook certifications; authorization to work in the USA; availability for early mornings/evenings and Saturdays.
  • Core skills: passion for health, strong communication, people skills, professionalism, reliability.
  • Preferred: bilingual English/Spanish; personal training certification or degree in exercise science/kinesiology; experience with mobility, stretching/PNF, sales, coaching, customer service, or healthcare; experience with older adults or clients with limitations.
