This Sub Arc Welder role requires strong blueprint reading skills, attention to detail, and the ability to produce high-quality welds. The ideal Sub Arc Welder is experienced, dependable, and committed to craftsmanship and safety.Required Experience & Skills Proven experience as a Sub Arc Welder (SAW) Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and drawings Strong knowledge of welding processes and safety practices Ability to pass a welding test Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Team-oriented attitudeEssential Duties & Responsibilities Perform Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) on steel components Set up and operate sub arc welding equipment Inspect welds for quality and accuracy Follow all safety procedures and standards Maintain a clean and organized work environment Assist with material handling and fabrication tasks as neededWork Environment Manufacturing/fabrication environment Exposure to welding equipment, heat, and heavy materials Physically demanding role requiring standing and repetitive motionAdditional Information Weekly pay Temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential Competitive pay based on experienceJobID124629Stand-By Personnel
