Job Description
NOW HIRING: SUB-ARC WELDERS – CLAREMORE, OK ?? Pay: $20-$28 per hour DOE? Schedule: Monday-Friday | Day Shift and Night Shift Available
HireCall is currently seeking experienced Sub-Arc Welders for a reputable vessel/header shop in Claremore, OK. Candidates must have strong Subarc welding experience and the ability to produce high-quality X-ray welds in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
? Weld Test:• 1G-R on pinwheel• 4” or 6” beveled pipe• MIG root / Flux fill & cap• Carbon steel
Responsibilities:• Produce X-ray quality welds using SUBARC welding processes• Detect faulty equipment or defective materials and notify supervisor• Select proper equipment and plan layouts, assemblies, and welding sequences• Safely operate overhead (OH) cranes• Inspect work pieces and verify conformance to specifications using measuring tools and templates• Set up welding machines and welding guns, including assembly/disassembly of welding tips• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:• 2+ years of Subarc welding experience in a vessel/header shop• Must be proficient in reading blueprints• High school diploma or GED required• Ability to develop templates and models using mathematical calculations from blueprints/drawings• Sub-arc welding experience is required
