Description:

You will be the Subcontract Management Senior for the Subcontract Management Team. Our team is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and integrating alternate suppliers to meet schedule and cost targets.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Subcontract Management Senior you will be responsible for overseeing all subcontracting activities for an emerging program, ensuring supplier qualification, cost control, and schedule adherence.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Issue RFQs and consolidate supplier quotes.
  • Analyze supplier data and maintain master data in enterprise systems.
  • Monitor performance metrics, risk indicators, and compliance, escalating issues as needed.
  • Generate weekly status and cost‑avoidance reports for senior leadership.
  • Provide day‑to‑day query support to internal stakeholders and suppliers.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company‑sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
  • Considered experienced, but still a learner.
  • Ability to be on-site a minimum of 3 days/week.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of DFAR and FAR regulations with hands on experience applying these rules and procurements.
  • 1-2 years of experience identifying, qualifying and integrating Second Sources of Supply within a Supply Chain

Desired Skills:

  • Proposals or Subcontract Administrator experience
  • Multi-year contract negotiation experience
  • Strong organization and communication skills

  • Ability to analyze and drive to closure problems in an effective manner
  • Active Secret security clearance at time of hire

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
