Subcontract Management Staff- Level 4

Description:Responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk, modified Commercial Off The Shelf, performance specification and complex build-to-print subcontracts for commercial, DOD and international programs. Leads multifunctional subcontract management teams. Holds procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority. Leads the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems in support of development, production and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types. Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions including price, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts and required change activity.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college 5+ years of experience
• Supply Chain experience within the Aerospace industry required
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
• Experience in procurement principles and supply chain management
• Advanced to Expert level in Microsoft Office Suite; to include Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience analyzing production or sustainment requirements in an SAP procurement system

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Engineering Change Notices / Change Requests
• Experience with Competitions and Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) Proposals
• Experience as a mentor or leader with advanced communications skills
• Experience collaborating and communicating cross-functionally, building consensus and shaping/influencing opinion
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Distinguished Business Acumen

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
