ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW
Where Indiana Intersects With The World… Our International Center Intern Mentors will help U.S. students achieve an international business experience and international students achieve a U.S. business experience, right here in Indianapolis!

POSITION SUMMARY
The selected intern works in direct support of the International Center’s Senior Vice President of Operations & Chief of Staff and Leadership Team, and is involved in general business activities, program deliveries, human resources tasks, and organizational projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research and analyze information, prepare, and present findings to supervisor and staff
- Participate in operations, human resources, program, and service delivery processes
- Manage organizational projects
- Attend accounting and development meetings
- Coordinate outreach events for prospective interns, advisors, and partners
DESIRED LEARNING OUTCOMES
- Understanding U.S. and international business and cultural diversities
- Understanding non-profit administration, business development, revenue management, program management, client service delivery, and Board governance
- Understanding human resources operations including recruitment and onboarding

- Business writing
- Interpersonal communications
- Knowledge of business practices and economic terms

PAY & SCHEDULE
- $15/hour, plus $80 monthly parking stipend
- The Center’s office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday
- Interns work an average of 20 hours per week during the fall and spring terms, and an average of 30 hours per week during the summer term
- Hybrid work possible, based on project needs and availability
