Summer Activity Camp: Sports Instructor (Magnolia Community Center)
Associated Recreation Council (ARC), in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is seeking a qualified Activity Camp Instructor- Sports to lead sports and activity camps for youth ages 6-12 at Magnolia.
Council: 150 - Magnolia
Hourly Wage: $25.00-$27.50
Status: Part-time, Seasonal
Desired Start Date: June 22, 2026
Schedule
Monday- Friday
Shifts available:
9:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.
1:30 p.m.- 4:30 p.m.
9:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
Summer Activity Camp: Sports Instructor Responsibilities:
Plan and lead safe, age-appropriate sports and recreational activities for youth ages 6-12
Teach basic sport skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship
Supervise participants and maintain a positive and inclusive camp environment
Set up and break down equipment and activity areas
Communicate effectively with ARC staff and site supervisors
Follow ARC and Seattle Parks and Recreation policies and procedures
Summer Activity Camp: Sports Instructor Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Experience working with children ages 6-12 in a recreational or camp setting
Experience leading sports or physical activity programs
Ability to manage groups in a positive and supportive manner
