Basic Function: The successful candidate will learn the van route, deliver coolers, pick up coolers each day, and file paperwork.Specific Responsibilities:
• Uphold the policies and philosophy of the Beaver County YMCA.• Attend staff training and orientation.• Maintain professional conduct and a neat appearance consistent with the YMCA Dress Policy.• Valid Driver's License and Car Insurance• Learn van route before first day of food service and hand up banners.• Deliver coolers to specific sites on the route each day.• Coolers weigh anywhere from 15-40 pounds.• After dropping off all full coolers, the van driver will repeat the route in order to pick up empty coolers that were previously dropped off at the site.• When picking up empty coolers, completed meal logs also need to be picked up.• Empty out coolers ice bags and return food to the YMCA
Van routes are subject to change with delivery times, field trips, and site start dates.
May be asked to work a summer site.
After completing route for the day, van drivers will return to YMCA and file paperwork for sites.Filing is done daily. The paperwork is filed after the tab for each site. The paperwork is to be filed in order based on site, meal type and date.
