Summer Camp Counselor at Family Fitness Plus
St. Andrew's Parks and Playground, is searching for several Camp Counselors for our summer camp program at Family Fitness Plus. The ideal teammate is passionate about working with children and is excited to be part of a team that has enriched lives through parks, recreation, and wellness for over 80 years!
This is a great position for fun individuals who love caring for and developing children 5 - 12 years of age. Also a great way to earn experience for Early Education or similar college majors, while making money!
This is a seasonal position that runs during the summer break, and will be located at Family Fitness Plus, 1642 Sam Rittenberg Blvd.
Summer Camps will run from June 1, 2026 to July 31, 2026. Paid pre-camp training sessions will be on select dates between May 11 and May 29. These sessions will start at 6:00 PM and conclude once the program activities for that session are completed, typically by 8:00 - 9:00 PM. Attendance at pre-camp training sessions is mandatory, however, exceptions may be made on a case by case basis with approval from the Program Director.

Position Title: Camp Counselor - Family Fitness Plus
Division / Department: Parks and Playground / Programs
Reports To: Program Director
Salary / Pay Rate: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour, depending on experience
Benefits: Full family membership to the fitness center during the season; Free Camp T-shirts; Medical Care Membership available with low ($70) monthly premiums
