Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Associate Intern to perform operational activities associated with emergencies and other real time grid conditions. Role begins April 15- October 31 2026Help us reduce the impact of climate change by reducing GHG emissions, reducing the use of fossil fuel plants and avoiding rolling blackouts to make a safer and healthier planet for everyone.You are detail oriented and have previously demonstrated applicable experience preferably with an understanding of the energy industry. Must be able to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.What You Will Do● Be responsible for ensuring Olivine meets all of its responsibilities to ensure success ofthe programs we implement and administer.● Act as primary point of contact for all dispatch operational activities including reporting.● Perform operations of your area working with appropriate program anddepartment managers.● Provide guidance and support to team members to share knowledge, developexpertise and to ensure operational excellence is achieved.● Initial operations require coverage 7 days per week until at least 7 p.m. HST from May –October.● Ensure management, team members and partners are kept up to date on status’,capture escalations and resolve issues.What You Bring● You are studying a quantitative field, or you have recently graduated in a quantitative field. ● You are able to work weekends and until 7:00pm on the days you work● You are a quick learner and flexible● You have strong attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibilityWho we areOlivine, Inc. is a small and growing distributed energy resources (DER) and grid services company on a mission to create a clean and sustainable environment for everyone in our community.
