Summer Office and Engineering Intern:

The Mission Driven Research Office and Engineering Intern will assist in the day-to-day operations of the company while also contributing to Internal Research & Development projects, gaining experience and exposure to the government contracting services industry.

Roles and responsibilities include:

• Basic IT support and inventory management.
• Clerical duties such as data entry, maintain files, and organize documents.
• Address facility needs and maintenance, e.g., taking out trash, changing light bulbs.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical, electrical, software, and systems elements into a cohesive platform.
• Contribute to simulation, modeling, and data analysis.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Preferred Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Current enrollment in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Computer, Software, or Systems Engineering (or related STEM) program.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a self-starter and growth mindset.
• Professional, teachable, and humble.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Reliable transportation.

Physical requirements and Environmental conditions:

• Sustained standing and sitting.
• Frequent use of PC, including typing and/or sustained attention to monitor.
• Occasional lifting of basic office supplies or equipment.
• Normal office environment with comfortable internal temperatures and low-level noise.
