Superintendent

Manage day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects ranging up to $30M. Lead project execution from mobilization through completion while maintaining schedule, quality, and safety standards. Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel to ensure efficient project delivery. Collaborate closely with project managers, owners, architects, and consultants throughout the construction process. Proactively identify and resolve field issues to keep projects on track and within budget expectations. Oversee project documentation, inspections, and compliance requirements. Manage projects throughout Connecticut across a variety of sectors including commercial, academic, healthcare, retail, and multifamily construction. Serve as the on-site leader, fostering strong communication and positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

A successful Superintendent should have: experience managing large commercial construction projects. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Knowledge of construction safety regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Proficiency in project management software and tools. A proactive and results-oriented mindset. Must-Have Qualifications: Superintendent experience within commercial construction. Proven ability to manage field operations, schedules, subcontractors, and project safety. Experience delivering ground-up and/or renovation projects in commercial environments. Ability to commute to projects throughout Connecticut, with accessibility to the Hartford office as needed. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: Healthcare construction experience for one of the open Superintendent positions. Experience across multiple commercial construction sectors, including academic, retail, multifamily, or institutional projects. Knowledge of Connecticut construction markets and subcontractor networks.
