Job Description

Superintendent -Fort Myers (Healthcare Construction Experience a Must)

Come work for an established General Contractor with a great reputation! We are seeking someone with at least 8 years of Construction Project Healthcare Superintendent and a deep understanding of the full construction process.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Oversight: Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work directly with the Project Manager, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and healthcare facility representatives to coordinate project activities and resolve issues.
Compliance & Regulatory Knowledge: Ensure all projects comply with the Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) regulations, healthcare building codes, and other relevant standards.
Safety Management: Oversee job site safety, ensuring that safety protocols are followed and a safe working environment is maintained at all times.
Scheduling & Budgeting: Develop and manage project schedules, track costs, and mitigate any potential delays or budget overruns.
Quality Control: Maintain high standards of construction quality, inspecting work regularly and ensuring compliance with all applicable specifications.
Problem Solving & Decision Making: Proactively address any issues that arise during construction, making timely and informed decisions to keep the project on track.
