Job DetailsResponsibilities

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle, managing healthcare construction projects from start to finish.
• Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all phases.
• Coordinate and supervise the work of construction crew and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with project specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists, providing valuable input into design and implementation processes.
• Resolve any issues or delays that may impact project timeline or quality.
• Develop comprehensive reports detailing project progress, costs, and scheduling.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, regulations, and standards in the healthcare construction industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry, specifically within healthcare construction.
• Proven track record of successfully managing healthcare construction projects from inception to completion or other complex projects.
• Exceptional knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team to meet project goals.
• Proficient in using construction management software and other relevant computer applications.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• Certification in OSHA safety training or equivalent is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage project schedules and meet deadlines.
