Description
- Act as day‑to‑day field leader on assigned projects
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, with a strong focus on MEP‑intensive scopes
- Ensure compliance with healthcare construction standards, infection control requirements, and safety protocols
- Maintain strong client relationships, particularly with VA stakeholders
- Review drawings, sequences, and scopes to proactively identify conflicts
- Occasionally perform hands‑on work when needed (swing a hammer)
- Work closely with the General Superintendent and Ownership

Profile
- Minimum of three years as a successful Construction Superintendent in commercial construction.
- Carpentry or MEP trades background
- Exceptional leadership abilities, inspiring and motivating project teams to achieve outstanding results.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, facilitating effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in interpreting construction plans, drawings, and specifications, ensuring accurate project implementation.
- In-depth knowledge of construction safety practices, regulations, and compliance, prioritizing the well-being of the project team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, adept at prioritizing tasks and meeting project deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
