Job Description
The Public/Municipal Superintendent will lead field operations on municipal and public-sector construction projects ranging from ground-up facilities to major renovations. This person will serve as the on-site leader responsible for safety, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and quality control while representing the contractor professionally to clients and regulatory agencies.

- Oversee daily field operations, ensuring safety, productivity, and adherence to project schedules.
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel with clear communication and accountability.
- Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and municipal officials for seamless project execution.
- Maintain jobsite documentation including reports, logs, and compliance paperwork.
- Ensure all work meets or exceeds quality standards and contractual requirements.
- Lead weekly progress meetings and provide updates on schedule milestones and site conditions.
- Proactively identify and solve field-related issues to avoid delays or cost impacts.
- Enforce company safety policies and maintain a clean, compliant jobsite.
Profile
- 7+ years of superintendent experience in construction, ideally focused on municipal, public works, or governmental facilities.
- Proven ability to run field operations on multimillion-dollar projects.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, civil work, and public sector compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with government entities.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Valid driver's license.
