Description

The Superintendent- Higher Education will:

  • Manage on-site building and construction activities for higher education projects, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and construction teams to maintain project efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues or challenges that arise during construction.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets.
  • Resolve conflicts and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Foster effective communication between all parties involved in the construction process.

Profile

A successful Superintendent- Higher Education should have:

  • Proven experience managing building and construction projects within the higher education sector, in Los Angeles or Southern California in general (huge plus)
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to solve problems effectively and maintain project timelines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
