Job Description

Superintendent in Northern VirginiaThe Superintendent in Northern Virginia will be responsible for:Managing day-to-day on-site construction operations for commercial projects

Interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and project documents

Conducting constructability reviews and maintaining detailed daily reports

Overseeing quality control processes and ensuring project standards are met

Coordinating scheduling of labor, materials, and subcontractors

Enforcing and upholding jobsite health and safety requirements

Collaborating with project managers, owners, architects, and stakeholders

Tracking progress and proactively resolving site issues to maintain timelinesA successful Superintendent in Northern Virginia should have:5+ years' experience as a Superintendent with a general contractor

Proven background delivering ground-up commercial projects

Experience within K-12, municipal, or government projects preferredOSHA 30-Hour Certification required

Strong ability to lead teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders

Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and related construction tools

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
