Job Description
SuperintendentA well-established Rochester, NY-based general contractor with decades of experience delivering high-quality construction projects throughout the region. The company has built a strong reputation for craftsmanship, reliability, and long-term client relationships across commercial, industrial, institutional, and public-sector construction.Job DescriptionAs a Superintendent, you will:Manage all daily jobsite operations from project start through completion
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and onsite personnel
Develop and maintain project schedules
Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within quality standards
Conduct daily safety meetings and site inspections
Monitor project progress and address field challenges proactively
Interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents
Coordinate project logistics and material deliveries
Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation
Communicate regularly with Project Managers, clients, and stakeholders

Strong commercial construction experience
Proven ability to manage subcontractors, schedules, and site operations
Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and safety regulations
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Experience with project scheduling and quality control
Proficiency with construction technology and reporting tools
Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilitiesA commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction
