Job Description
Leadership Role in ConstructionOur client is a fast-growing, tight-knit general contractor known for delivering complex renovation and design-build projects for community-focused organizations. They are a leader in Financial, Medical, Transportation, Municipal and Academic Projects in Maine. They maintain a tight-knit, entrepreneurial culture where leadership has a direct impact on how the business grows.Job DescriptionManage 1-2 commercial interior or renovation projects concurrently from site mobilization through close-out. Coordinate subcontractors, foremen, and in-house labor to maintain schedule, quality, and site safety. Lead phased construction in occupied environments, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations. Oversee daily site logistics, inspections, material deliveries, and cleanliness. Communicate clearly with project managers and clients, including written delay notifications and updates. Support light carpentry, protection, and site tasks as needed to keep projects running smoothly. Ability to manage multiple short-duration projects (6-12 months) simultaneously. Strong knowledge of interior build-outs, renovations, and building systems upgrades. Comfortable working in occupied buildings and coordinating phased construction. Computer-savvy with the ability to communicate professionally via email and project systems.
