With clinics located across Fresno, Kings, and Tulare counties, our team works together to deliver accessible, high-quality care to every patient.
Job Summary:
The Supervisor leads the department to improve the overall dental health of patients.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Oversee activities of the dental department.
- Carrying out and attaining the mission and the goals of ACHC within the department.
- Development of a culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, employee retention and development, and high performance.
- Personal ongoing self-development and personal growth as an employee.
- Development procedures and systems to build the program and improve the quality, productivity and overall effectiveness of the department.
- Provide oversight and direction to the employees in the operating unit in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
- Lead employees to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, continuous improvement, and goal accomplishment.
- Provide effective performance feedback through employee recognition, rewards, and disciplinary action, with the assistance of Human Resources.
- Maintain employee work schedules including assignments, training, vacations, and cover for absenteeism.
- Maintain transparent communication. Appropriately communicate organization information through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, and appropriate email, and regular interpersonal communication.
- Plan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency, and output.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
- Communicates ideas and information in a clear and concise manner.
- Maintain a thorough working knowledge of the clinic and keep up with current industry practices.
