Job Description Summary

Perform and supervise the performance of diagnostic radiology procedures, while maintaining the X-ray department in accordance with Southeast Alabama Medical Center, JCAHO and ACR guidelines.

Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Graduate or Equivalent Radiology Technology Degree Must hold current registry through the American Association of Radiological Technologists BCLS certification (current) Computer literacy in Windows based programs preferred Medical office experience preferred

LANGUAGE/ COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

Ability to effectively communicate in English both in writing and orally Ability to effectively communicate in an emergency situation

SKILLS:

Basic typing skills Computer literacy in Windows based programs preferred Effective telephone techniques Ability to operate business machines to include fax and copier Manual dexterity
