Job Description
Our Client, an Automotive company, is looking for a Supply Analyst I for their Portland, OR/Hybrid location.Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end parts returns process for client dealer network
- Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure accurate and timely return processing
- Develop and maintain standard work instructions and process documentation
- Respond to returns inquiries and resolve processing issues
- Support internal and external training related to returns processing
- Analyze returns data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Participate in and lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on customer experience and operational performance
- Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 0–2 years of relevant experience preferred, or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Experience in a supply chain, logistics, or operations-related function
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Must be comfortable being a decision maker and will have autonomy to make decisions
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience or training in Lean principles, waste elimination, and continuous improvement methodologies
- SAP experience preferred
- Experience with data analysis and reporting
- Requires a basic understanding of industry practices, procedures, and operational processes
- Works within established procedures to analyze information and resolve routine issues
- Responsible for meeting objectives and deadlines in a structured work environment
- Best – Microsoft experience, cross functional experience/ customer service – good written communication is a must
- KPI’s – not clearly defined right now - Responsible for meeting objectives and deadlines
- What does success look like in this role – managing a pool of returns are they fulfilling on time
- Recurring Meetings – daily huddle and 1:1’s
- Required Experience, Skills, Abilities:
- Experience in a supply chain function
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Must work well in team setting
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills required
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- BS/BA and prefer 0-2 years of relevant experience or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Preferred Experience, Skills, Abilities:
- Training and/or experience in lean principles, problem solving techniques, and waste elimination.
- SAP experience
- Data analysis
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Typically requires a Bachelors Degree

- Typical Day in the Role:
- 10% 9 am huddle with the team
- 90% - own a returns inbox within outlook daily and monthly request and a turned process
- Most of the roll is ad hoc request – editing returns allocations
- Ongoing learning experience will not be fully trained until a few months in
