About the Role
We are seeking a Supply Chain Analyst II to join the CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting & Replenishment) team within the Home Appliance division. This role focuses on demand forecasting and order management for major retail partners, primarily Costco with additional responsibilities for Amazon and Wayfair. You will collaborate closely with internal sales teams and external customer inventory planners to ensure accurate forecasting and timely order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
- Forecasting & Order Management
- Update and maintain forecasts in the system (primarily Mon–Wed).
- Collaborate with sales teams and Costco to finalize weekly forecasts.
- Participate in weekly meetings with Costco for forecasting and order alignment.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Generate and distribute internal/external reports using Excel.
- Conduct root cause analysis and sales trend analysis.
- Maintain transparency by promptly reporting issues.
- Customer & Team Collaboration
- Work directly with Costco buyers and inventory planners.
- Partner with sales teams to align forecasts and manage orders.
- Data Management
- Handle large datasets with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure consistent tracking and organization of data.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Experience:
- 3+ years in supply chain, demand planning, or forecasting roles.
- Retail experience and prior sales analysis background preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas; macros a plus).
- SAP experience is a plus but not required.
- Core Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive communicator.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Additional Information
- Team Structure:
- Report to JB; work alongside JB and one other analyst (team of 3).
- Part of a broader CPFR team (~6 members).
- Interview Process:
- Initial interview with JB, followed by 2–3 interviews with managers/team.
- Onsite interviews preferred; references required.
- Career Path:
- Open-ended role with potential for long-term extension based on performance.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, normal business hours.
- Hybrid: 4 days onsite, Friday remote.
