Supply Chain Analyst

Russell Tobin is partnering with a healthcare and medical device organization to identify a Supply Chain Analyst for an onsite opportunity near Forest City IA.Responsibilities:

• Manage intercompany orders from order entry through fulfillment, including order inquiries, changes, exceptions, and shipment discrepancies.
• Investigate and resolve backorders, shortages, delays, and supply chain exceptions using root-cause analysis and cross-functional coordination.
• Develop and maintain reporting supporting demand planning, order management, inventory management, supply planning, and financial reporting.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, gaps, opportunities, and process improvements.
• Utilize SAP ERP and other enterprise systems to research transactions, analyze inventory and supply information, monitor orders, and support operational decisions.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Transportation, Finance, and Customer Service teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Support continuous improvement through data analysis, process evaluation, root-cause analysis, and best-practice sharing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of supply chain experience, preferably within manufacturing or a comparable supply chain environment.
• Demonstrated experience with SAP ERP or a comparable enterprise resource planning system.
• Strong knowledge of supply planning, demand planning, inventory/materials management, order management, warehousing, transportation, and/or import/export.
• Strong data analytics, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to understand end-to-end supply chain impacts across manufacturing, distribution, customer service, and financial operations.

Preferred:

• Advanced SAP, JDA, Power BI, SQL, Python, or other analytics experience is preferred.
• Experience developing dashboards, reports, KPIs, or analytical tools is a plus.

• Position Type: 12-month contract (potential to extend)
• Pay range approved: $24/hr - $28/hr (depending on experience)
