What You'll Do
The Supply Chain Analyst & Buyer plays a key role in ensuring efficient sourcing, purchasing, and supply chain optimization. In this role, you will:
- Conduct supplier comparisons for sourcing of new and alternative parts and equipment
- Support supplier onboarding, collaborating with internal and external partners
- Ensure adequate supply of assigned commodities through coordination with suppliers, customer service, and supply-demand analysis
- Execute purchasing activities, including: PO issuance, confirmation, and re-order planning
- Coordinate returns of non-conforming materials to suppliers
- Analyze ERP data using analytical models and mathematical tools to drive insights
- Interpret data to improve supply chain performance and reduce costs
- Conduct supply market research and benchmarking
- Recommend and present safety stock adjustments based on analysis
- Identify and propose continuous improvement opportunities, monitoring effectiveness of implemented initiatives and solutions
- Monitor and manage supplier performance
- Support team members as needed and provide backup coverage
- Independently prioritize work in alignment with stakeholder priorities

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles
- Experience with ERP systems and data analysis tools (e.g., IFS, SAP, Excel, Power BI)
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
