Job Description: Req # 15953 - Merchandise Planner 2
- On-site role at WHQ; typical work hours, WFH Fridays
- Contract duration will be ~1 year
- Bachelor s degree strongly preferred
- 2-4 years experience minimum required in a merch planning role
Top must-have skills include the following:
- Excel expertise
- Knowledge of retail math and open-to-buy (OTB) management
- Experience working in a cross functional matrix environment
- General understanding of retail operations
Desired soft skills:
- Flexibility
- Able to have meaningful cross functional conversations
- Ability to work in ambiguity
Combination of skills/expertise that might make a candidate stand out:
Previous experience presenting in front of senior leadership (good communication skills)
Prior financial management experience
Proven ability to communicate with higher ups (stakeholder management)
Will work on a direct team of 6-7; will also work hand-in-hand with other teams, including sport planning, in-line planning, etc.
