Job Description: Req # 15953 - Merchandise Planner 2

  • On-site role at WHQ; typical work hours, WFH Fridays
  • Contract duration will be ~1 year
  • Bachelor s degree strongly preferred
  • 2-4 years experience minimum required in a merch planning role

Top must-have skills include the following:

  • Excel expertise
  • Knowledge of retail math and open-to-buy (OTB) management
  • Experience working in a cross functional matrix environment
  • General understanding of retail operations

Desired soft skills:

  • Flexibility
  • Able to have meaningful cross functional conversations
  • Ability to work in ambiguity

Combination of skills/expertise that might make a candidate stand out:

  • Previous experience presenting in front of senior leadership (good communication skills)

  • Prior financial management experience

  • Proven ability to communicate with higher ups (stakeholder management)

  • Will work on a direct team of 6-7; will also work hand-in-hand with other teams, including sport planning, in-line planning, etc.

  • 1-2 rounds of interviews maxComments for Suppliers: Rebuild from previous req # 14797 as ETW who filled that role is moving into a FTE role.
