THE TEAM

The mission of the Trade & Customs teams is to enable the cross-border movement of goods and lead the company's trade and customs compliance strategy, playing a vital role in Aritzia's global commerce.

You will play a pivotal role in managing the cross border movement of goods and related information efficiently and effectively, to maximize business value and ensure compliance. THE ROLE

As the Senior Manager/Manager, Trade & Customs, Operations, you will lead the team to:

  • Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience.

  • Strategically develop Aritzia's trade and customs approach to uphold our competitive advantage

  • Minimize Aritzia's duty liability while optimizing our cash flow

  • Manage the seamless execution of our day-to-day business and initiatives

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Senior Manager/Manager, Trade & Customs, Operations has:

  • Proven skills, certifications, education and/or experience in:

  • Licensed US Customs Broker, or Canada CCS Certification required

  • Experience in a fast paced and growing Trade & Customs environment

  • Experience with Supply Chain security program management and direct engagement with customs authorities

  • Team leadership experience preferred

  • A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles

  • The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners

  • A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business

THE COMPENSATION

At Aritzia, we provide market-leading compensation packages designed to reward impact through our pay-for-performance philosophy.

The range for roles at this level is $100,000 - $300,000 per year. Total compensation may include base, bonus and/or equity depending on the role, which has the potential to be greater than this range.
