Job Description
The Supply Chain Business Process Manager will be responsible for documenting, analyzing, and improving end-to-end supply chain processes across multiple business verticals. This role will develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), identify process inefficiencies, and partner cross-functionally with Internal Audit, Accounting, IT, and Operations to ensure processes are scalable, controlled, and aligned with business objectives.
This position is an individual contributor role with significant visibility and opportunity to grow as the organization scales.
Key Responsibilities
Process Documentation & Standardization
- Develop, document, and maintain end-to-end supply chain SOPs across planning, procurement, logistics, inventory, and equipment management.
- Create process maps, workflows, and training documentation to ensure consistent execution across teams and sites.
- Establish a centralized process repository and governance model for ongoing updates.
Process Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Assess current-state processes across supply chain verticals to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and risks.
- Design and implement future-state processes that improve efficiency, scalability, and control.
- Lead process improvement initiatives, including root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with IT and technology teams to ensure systems and tools support defined business processes.
- Serve as a liaison between supply chain operations and corporate functions to ensure consistent process execution.
Governance & Controls
- Define process controls, handoffs, and documentation standards to support audit readiness and compliance.
- Support internal audits and process reviews by providing documentation, process explanations, and improvement plans.
- Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor process adherence and performance.
Change Management & Enablement
- Support training and communication of new or updated processes to stakeholders.
- Partner with leaders and frontline teams to drive adoption of standardized processes.
- Develop playbooks and toolkits to enable consistent execution across the organization.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in supply chain, operations, process improvement, or business process management.
- Experience developing SOPs, process maps, and documentation in a complex organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate ambiguity into structured processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working cross-functionally with finance, audit, IT, or risk/compliance teams.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement methodologies.
- Experience with supply chain systems (ERP, WMS, TMS, asset management systems).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
