About the role:
As a Supply Chain Contracts Manager, you will be the subject matter expert in our contracting methodologies and supplier/subcontractor terms and conditions (Ts&Cs). You will lead the application and formulation of contract templates applied to supplier/subcontractor agreements, inclusive of procurements for products, goods and services. You will protect Westinghouse's commercial interests and support internal/external customers and projects. You will support of sourcing activities related to the disposition of supplier/subcontractor exceptions to our T&Cs and negotiation of same. You will report to the Senior Manager, Contracts Management and work remote. This is a 100% remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
Help manage supplier and subcontractor terms and conditions (Ts&Cs) for all Westinghouse supply chain operations,
Ensure protocols for reviews of supplier/subcontractor deviations to Ts&Cs for multiple supply contract types (e.g. Engineered Goods, General Services, Engineering Services, and Logistics)
Lead face-to-face negotiations with suppliers/subcontractors on Ts&Cs issues, alliance or teaming, and master services agreements, with a focus on indirect complex or high-risk scopes of work. Develop GSCS Contracts staffs to proficiently perform these negotiations. ·
Provide input and guidance to Supply Chain on Westinghouse governance procedural requirements affecting Supply Chain operations and procurements.
Ensure all global contract terms template(s) are maintained and updated.
Provide functional interface and strategic contact to Westinghouse GSCS, Legal and product line teams on Ts&Cs issues,
Ensure support of proposal development activities involving supply chain (if required).
Analyze customer contract requirements and support legal and sourcing in developing commercial approach/response ·
Develop and implement processes to "flowdown" customer contracts requirements to suppliers and subcontractors,
Represent GSCS Contracts at WEC management meetings, as requiredProvide Ts&Cs training support.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
3+ year's related contracts formulation experience or legal education
Experience with contracting methodologies and related forms and terms that align with the scope of the procurements
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $90,000 to $112,500 per year.
