Job Description

Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Navigation and understanding of the BUS and complete Supply Chain.

  • Understanding of Supplier rules/mins/etc.

  • Purchasing & inventory control functions.

  • Manage regional inventory of assigned product lines.

  • Enter transfer requisitions for assigned products regionally

  • Slow/dead reduction

  • Quarantine reduction

  • Place PO’s based on allocations, stocking limits, historical usage.

  • Average of 8 PO’s/person/day

  • Confirm PO’s

  • Work with Traffic dept to get product picked up from vendor and inbounded

  • Schedule with the WHSE for packaging bulk tankers at Falls/Chi/STP

  • Maintain stocking limits (2100 SKU’s)

  • Cost Savings

  • Coordinate Production Schedules

  • Understanding of market trends and basic PM responsibilities.

  • Product Allocations/Force Majeures

  • Pricing negotiations

  • Advanced understanding of Supply Chain.

Your Profile

Education and Experience:

  • College degree or equivalent experience required

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking

  • Experience driving direct material sourcing savings

  • Ability to build relationship and work well with others

  • Assertive, effective, and solid written and verbal communication and negotiating skills

  • Must have a proven record of meeting stringent deadlines

  • Experience working with an ERP system and knowledge of MS Office programs: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
