Description: Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator (Distribution Center Operations)Contract Terms:12 monthsPay Rate:an hourLocation: Laredo, TX On sitePosition SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to support our Distribution Center (DC) operations and manage supply chain activities within a 3PL warehouse environment. This role is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring smooth operational flow, and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain. Key ResponsibilitiesManage and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to support efficient warehouse operationsMonitor daily DC activity and implement corrective actions to resolve operational issues and maintain workflowCommunicate effectively with multiple sites, internal teams, and external partnersCollaborate with transportation providers to ensure timely and accurate shipment movementArrange special or expedited shipments as needed to meet business requirementsIdentify and recommend process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiencyTrack, collect, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)Generate reports by consolidating data from multiple Excel sourcesRequired Skills & QualificationsStrong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (data consolidation, reporting, analysis)Understanding of supply chain and logistics networks, particularly within a 3PL environmentAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills, both written and verbalProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)Highly organized with strong attention to detailPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience in distribution center or warehouse operationsExperience working with transportation providers and logistics partnersFamiliarity with performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives
