About the Job. The Supply Chain Execution Senior Specialist is responsible for implementing supply chain processes in the field, training Field Material Specialists, and drives consistency, efficiency, and accountability across all projects. The Supply Chain Execution Senior Specialist serves as the primary link between commercial supply chain strategy and site-level execution, ensuring that materials are received, tracked, and managed efficiently from procurement through installation.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Training, Mentorship & Field Enablement

  • Train day-to-day supply chain operations on assigned projects, including training of field material coordinators, inventory control, data integrity and laydown yard management.

  • Train and mentor Field Material Specialists (FMS’) on company processes, systems, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Train FMS’ on how to treat laydown yards as active warehouse operations—implement best practices for organization, labeling, safety, and security.

  • Support the roll-out and training of technology systems (Procore, Sage, or other project management platforms) related to material and inventory management.

Process Development, Documentation & Continuous Improvement

  • Assist in developing, documenting, and continuously improving SOPs for material handling, inventory management, laydown yard organization, and logistics coordination.

  • Enforce efficient field workflows for receiving, staging, and distributing materials.

Field Operations Oversight & Inventory Control

  • Audit inventory processes to ensure accuracy, accountability, and timely reporting through Sage.

  • Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and operational standards across all supply chain activities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with commercial procurement, Supply Chain admin, and GC field operations to align delivery schedules, material readiness, and installation timelines.

Non-essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Assist in development and improvement of execution policy and procedure.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Effective Leadership across field teams to provide direction, accountability and development.

  • Strong command of logistics, warehouse management, and construction material handling practices.

Education, Work Experience, & Physical Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Architecture, Engineering or Construction related field.

  • 2-4 years experience in a business, construction or professional setting.

  • Previous experience in a construction environment or similar position is highly desirable.

  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

  • Proficiency in using business software and tools, including MS Office and project management applications.
