Supply Chain Intern Summer 2026

About the role:

As an APx Supply Chain intern, you will verify quality and technical requirements for projects, products, and service deliveries for Westinghouse - from bid phase and component design through manufacturing and delivery.

You will report to the Project Procurement - Global AP1000 Delivery Stream Director and be located at our Cranberry facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help with Supplier Audits and Technical Evaluations
• Support completion of NDA/PIA negotiations
• Help with Request for Quotation (RFQ) package creation
• Schedule and support Supplier Design Proposal / Compliance Matrix review meetings
• Support creating the Manufacturing and Process Plan estimates for use in design option selection or validation of cost and schedule
• Support coordination of Supplier Oversight Quality Assurance (QA) Technical Witness and Hold Points
• Support the project management team to work with Supplier Quality support organizations
• Support Westinghouse Project Support Team Execution
• Support execution of required Supplier QA Witness and Hold Points
• Complete the Westinghouse Quality Release (QR) to support shipment.
• Archive the QR and associated Quality Assurance Data Package (QADP) in PRIME

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, Supply Chain, Marketing
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Completed Sophomore year of college

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $18.70 to $27.50 per hour.
