Role Overview

Supply Chain Manager to establish and operationalize industry best practices across planning, inventory, order management, fulfillment, sourcing, and channel management for AR/VR consumer electronics programs.

This role will define "what good looks like" for Client's hardware supply chain by setting performance standards, formalizing KPI frameworks, assessing current-state metrics and reporting, identifying capability gaps, and implementing strong data governance foundations to support scalable, high-volume consumer electronics operations.

This is a transformation and performance enablement role - not a transactional operations role.

Required Domain Experience

Consumer electronics supply chain experience is required. Candidate must have hands-on experience in high-volume hardware environments and bring expertise in at least four of the following areas:

• Demand & Supply Planning
• Inventory Management
• Order Management
• Fulfillment & Logistics
• Strategic Sourcing
• Channel / Distribution Management

Experience supporting product launches, demand volatility, and global manufacturing networks is essential.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supply Chain Best Practice Implementation

• Introduce and embed consumer electronics industry best practices.
• Define scalable operating model standards across planning, sourcing, fulfillment, and channel operations.
• Align processes to support new product introductions (NPI) and demand swings.
• Benchmark performance against leading hardware supply chain models.

2. KPI Definition & Performance Framework

• Define standardized KPIs across core supply chain domains.
• Establish metric definitions, ownership, and calculation logic.
• Set performance targets aligned to business and customer objectives.
• Implement structured performance review cadence (operational, leadership, executive).

• Excess & obsolete exposure

• Cost competitiveness

Channel Management

• Channel inventory health
• Sell-in vs. sell-through alignment
• Service level performance

3. Current-State Assessment & Gap Closure

• Review existing metrics, dashboards, and reporting structures.
• Identify inconsistencies, definition gaps, and misaligned KPIs.
• Assess data ownership and reporting workflows.
• Define a prioritized roadmap to close performance and governance gaps.

4. Data Governance & Reporting Architecture

• Establish clear data ownership and stewardship model across supply chain functions.
• Standardize dashboard structure and reporting hierarchies.
• Implement governance for metric updates and data integrity controls.

Required Experience

• 6 10 years in supply chain management within consumer electronics (required).
• Experience across at least four of the six core supply chain domains listed above.
• Proven experience implementing KPI frameworks and performance management structures.
• Strong understanding of high-volume global manufacturing and distribution networks.
• Experience establishing data governance in ERP/planning environments.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
