Our steel is used to build critical infrastructure in the US. We use high-tech CNC equipment to fabricate tons of structural steel every year. We’re hiring a hands-on Supply Chain Manager to drive performance on the production floor—not from behind a desk. This role is central to managing production scheduling, materials planning, and CNC programming, while leading the pre-fabrication area and collaborating closely with project and operations teams. Success means developing efficient systems, solving problems before they escalate, and mentoring managers by example. You’ll use data, planning tools, and process insight to improve plant readiness, execution, and results. - At least five years of supervisory experience within departments such as operations, production planning, inventory oversight, scheduling, or facility management
- A bachelor's degree in fields such as logistics, industrial systems, manufacturing operations, business administration, or similar is preferred
- Strong grasp of supply chain strategies and operational tools — this position plays a key role in driving production results through the facility
- Proven track record in managing teams within a manufacturing setting, including both frontline staff and administrative personnel
- Hands-on experience in inventory coordination and/or programming for CNC equipment is highly advantageous
- In-depth familiarity with lean manufacturing practices and Six Sigma methodologies, aimed at optimizing both departmental and plant-wide effectiveness
- Solid background in operational efficiency and management structures — this role requires leading a plant division and contributing to its leadership group
- Exceptional communicator with strong leadership traits — must be capable of guiding, inspiring, and delivering high-level outcomes through team efforts
- Highly organized with the ability to build and follow through on structured plans, meeting deadlines and performance targets
- Comfortable with financial and commercial concepts relevant to running a business unit
