Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize procurement and supply chain operations within the not-for-profit sector. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor optimization, and stakeholder management to ensure efficient and cost-effective processes.

Description
- Develop written policies and procedures to improve efficiency in the Supply Chain and ensure compliance throughout the organization
- Define and track KPIs and performance metrics to support continuous improvement
- Own demand planning and forecasting aligned to school needs/calendar
- Manage cross-functional teams with diverse stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of large-scale projects
- Develop and manage sourcing and procurement strategies for each managed category and execute against them (RFPs, RFQs, contract drafting and negotiation, etc.), with a focus on total value (cost, service levels, quality, risk)
- Develop the optimum inventory levels at the schools and create and establish a customized distribution model, inclusive of both centralized and decentralized procured products
- Upgrade processes to best-in-class
- Continually drive down the total cost of distributing and handling goods through process efficiency.
- Manage inventory movement between locations, and track and identify materials across the entire network.
Profile
- 7 - 10 years of experience in supply chain management with meaningful sourcing and procurement experience
- Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree a PLUS
- CIPS and/or CPSM a PLUS
- An excellence reflex, with consistently high standards, sharp attention to detail, and clear, concise communication.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving ability; can quickly diagnose issues, simplify complexity, and drive practical solutions.
- Strong vendor relationship and communication skills
- A track record of leading significant work and delivering extraordinary results, not just maintaining existing processes.
- Sound judgment and strong ownership in fast-moving, ambiguous environments; able to move work forward independently and raise the bar for others.
- Resilience, maturity, and openness to feedback; secure enough to adapt, improve, and stay effective under pressure.
- An entrepreneurial mindset; willing to take smart risks, challenge outdated ways of working, and build better systems from the ground up.
- Strong planning and operational discipline; able to design and manage inventory, distribution, and fulfillment processes with rigor.
- The ability to influence and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including
- vendors, school-based teams, and network staff.
- Comfort with systems and technology, including the ability to learn new tools quickly and use them to improve visibility, control, and execution.
Job Offer
