Job Description
- Lead procurement, material planning, inventory management, logistics, and supplier performance for ESP products.
- Ensure the availability of critical components, including motors, pumps, seals, cables, protectors, sensors, drives, and related equipment.
- Develop supply plans that support production schedules, customer orders, and field-service requirements.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, performance reviews, corrective actions, and development plans.
- Monitor supplier delivery, quality, cost, capacity, and responsiveness.
- Establish inventory targets, safety stock, reorder points, and controls for critical and long-lead materials.
- Partner with engineering, manufacturing, quality, operations, sales, and project management to meet customer commitments.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including shortages, supplier capacity constraints, transportation issues, and material disruptions.
- Track supply chain performance metrics, including on-time delivery, inventory turns, material shortages, purchase price variance, and expedite costs.
- Lead, coach, and develop purchasing, planning, materials, and warehouse personnel.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality requirements, ethical sourcing standards, and applicable industry regulations.
