Job Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: (may perform any or all of the following duties)
Oversees Purchasing / Logistics, Pre-scale, on and off-site Warehouse, and Cleaning Staff Working hands on in all areas of the Supply Chain such as but not limited to shipping & receiving, pre-scale, maintenance, and cleaning. Coordinate with all other department heads to avoid problems that may arise that could affect them Focus on demand / supply chain forecasting, and product / inventory management Oversee Purchasing and negotiating supplier contracts, identifying opportunities to reduce total supply chain cost, evaluate market conditions to reduce overall cost while maintaining / improving quality Ensure the cleanliness and safety of grounds and facility Oversee logistics and assist as needed, evaluate new more efficient cost-effective measures Oversee pre-scale assist as needed and help ensure accuracy of WOs and hitting daily / weekly targets Coordinate inventories and slow-moving inventory counts, ensure lot code accuracy, assist as needed Ensure all policies and procedures are carried out and if needed help in changing them to work better Coordinate grounds and facility maintenance Oversee Shipping & Receiving to maintain accuracy of all orders and efficiencies in warehouse Responsible for cost containment and savings in all areas Advise on hiring, discipline, and firing employees
Qualifications/Competencies Ability to build, manage, lead, and resolve conflicts for a high performing team Ability to work in company specific software Proficient in Microsoft Office Solid math skills Ability to prioritize and adjust as necessary Solid time-management skills Knowledge of inventory control procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Education and Experience HS Diploma and a minimum of 3 years previous experience in a related field, Associate or Bachelors in a related field or a combination of education and experience.Physical Demands Required to bend, twist, reach, walk and stoop, or crouch. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
