Supply Chain Operations Specialist

ROLE OVERVIEW

This role manages end-to-end production and logistics, from purchase order placement through final delivery, ensuring products are produced accurately, shipped on time, and aligned with internal launch timelines. Responsibilities include seasonal ERP item maintenance, cross-functional collaboration, and building reports and trackers using ERP data, vendor reports, and internal documents (strong Excel/Google Sheets required). Within six months, this role is expected to operate independently with minimal oversight.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Create and manage purchase orders within ERP and prepare production submittal templates. 
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of finished goods.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships and understanding of specific vendor needs. 
• Review and maintain purchasing and logistics documentation, including incoterms, packing lists and commercial invoices, reconciling errors as needed.
• Assist in 3PL forecasting and inbound updates across multiple delivery locations. 
• Perform all tasks related to inventory item maintenance within ERP, ensuring accurate data entry and validation, on a seasonal basis.
• Prepare reports and provide insights to inform tactical or strategic decisions. Must be able to build and maintain complex trackers using formulas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and communicate changes in production plans.
• Assess risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential disruptions in operations.

EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 3-5 years experience in production planning and supply chain operations
• Knowledge of supply chain systems and tools. Experience with NetSuite ERP is preferred.
• Proficient in Google Suite.  Advanced skills  in GSheets / Excel required, using formulas (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IF statements), pivot tables, filters, and conditional formatting.
• Understanding of basic forwarder and shipping / inbound requirements, including bookings, HTS codes, and cost-effective shipping methods is preferred.
