Job Description Summary
This role has direct responsibility for end-to-end supply chain execution of the BWRX‑300 SMR control system, from Engineering Bill of Materials (BOM) handoff through final delivery. The position owns supply chain execution, actively coordinating across Engineering, Manufacturing, and other stakeholder functions to ensure schedule, readiness, and delivery commitments are met. While Manufacturing teams will continue to execute production and testing, this role will track progress, resolve issues, and drive alignment to ensure successful control system delivery.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Serve as the primary Supply Chain Program Manager for BWRX‑300 products, ensuring alignment to contractual delivery commitments and on‑time delivery (OTD) performance
Coordinate Bill of Materials (BOM) handoff from Engineering to Supply Chain, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and readiness for execution
Develop and maintain integrated production schedules, including production slotting and sequencing based on resource capacity, footprint constraints, and material availability
Partner closely with Project Management to ensure day‑to‑day manufacturing plans align with overall project milestones and customer commitments
Work with Sourcing and Purchasing to plan, release, and execute material procurement in alignment with production schedules
Lead proactive materials management efforts, including long‑lead material strategy, material deep dives, and engagement with sourcing to ensure fulfillment
Track and communicate material status at the unit and project level, highlighting shortages, risks, and critical path items
Conduct regular production and material status review rhythms (daily/weekly), identifying issues, prioritizing actions, and driving timely escalation when needed
Quantify impacts of milestone misses or schedule delays and drive cross‑functional recovery plans with clear ownership
Act as a liaison between Production daily management and cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Procurement, Planning, Quality) to remove barriers to execution
Communicate project milestone priorities and big‑picture objectives to project stakeholders, ensuring alignment and support across functions
Facilitate communication between customers and project teams regarding production status, risks, and recovery plans as required
Provide clear and concise status updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders on production progress, material readiness, risks, and mitigation actions
Maintain accurate execution metrics, including material readiness, schedule adherence, milestone tracking, and OTD performance
Perform regular Gemba engagement within manufacturing to maintain real‑time visibility into execution performance
Support continuous improvement of supply chain execution processes, tools, and operating rhythms for a growing and evolving product line
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with at least 5 years of experience in supply chain function or 2 years of experience if coming out of a GEV or other leadership program
Desired Characteristics
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or a related field
- Experience with ERP and PLM systems
- Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments
- Experience developing and executing production schedules
- Ability to communicate effectively with leadership, including delivering presentations
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment
- Proven ability to convey information clearly through both written and oral communication
- Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to document, plan, promote, and execute programs effectively
- Well-developed project management skills
