Supply Chain SpecialistKey Details

Location: Sunnyvale, CA 94089
Work Arrangement: 100% onsite
Employment Type: 6 month W2 contract
Pay Rate: $26/hour

About the RoleThe Supply Chain Specialist will support the planning, procurement, and management of semiconductor and memory components for sustaining high technology networking products. This role is responsible for maintaining supply continuity in a fast paced, highly complex environment by monitoring supply health, managing inventory, and resolving material constraints.The ideal candidate is analytical, detail oriented, and experienced in component level supply chains. This individual will collaborate closely with suppliers, manufacturing partners, and cross functional internal teams to mitigate risk, optimize inventory, and improve overall supply chain performance through data driven decision making.Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute fulfillment strategies across suppliers, distributors, logistics providers, and manufacturing partners
Manage inventory planning and control strategies to optimize supply availability and improve inventory turns
Monitor supply health and material availability; identify risks and implement mitigation plans
Resolve component shortages through coordination with procurement, suppliers, engineering, and operations teams
Support supplier collaboration and co planning activities, including reporting and dashboard development
Own supply chain reporting, including shortage updates, metrics, and executive level summaries
Execute procurement activities such as purchase order management, lead time tracking, and supplier follow up
Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, forecast risks, and support strategic decisions
Contribute to cost reduction initiatives and continuous process improvement efforts

Qualifications

Strong experience in supply chain operations, materials management, demand planning, or procurement
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data analysis
Solid understanding of component level supply chains within a high technology environment
Proven ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross functionally
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field
Experience managing semiconductor or memory components
Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems such as SAP or Oracle
Background in networking, server, or hardware manufacturing environments
Demonstrated experience driving process improvements and operational efficiencies
