Crane Aerospace and Electronics has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Supervisor at our West Caldwell, NJlocation.

Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day performance of the Buyer/Planner group and drives results through KPIs and the standardization of their work throughout Crane Aerospace & Electronics. 

Essential Functions:

  • Facilitate Communication and Remove Barriers: Analyze business needs, communicate changes, and eliminate obstacles to keep teams informed, productive, and focused on goals.
  • Champion Key Tools and Initiatives: Act as MRS Tool Champion and drive company initiatives such as on-time delivery (OTD), inventory reduction, and lean principles across the supply chain (including kanban methods).
  • Lead Talent Development and Inclusion: Select, motivate, and develop top talent while fostering trust, respect, and diversity at all organizational levels.
  • Promote Continuous Improvement: Utilize Crane Business System (CBS) tools to drive process improvements and operational excellence.
  • Maintain Customer Focus and Issue Resolution: Ensure strong internal/external customer focus and escalate issues promptly for resolution.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3-7 years of experience in a supply chain role
  • Knowledge: Working knowledge of drawings and specifications
  • Skills/Abilities: Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle preferred
  • Education/Certification: BS degree in Supply Chain or Business

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years supervisory or lead experience
  • Professional certification (APICS, CPIM)
  • Master’s degree

Working Conditions:

  • Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment
  • Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: safety eye glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE
  • May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes

Salary range: $109,500.00 to $139,500.00. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
