Supply Clerk

Position summary:  This position will assist in all aspects of maintaining an accurate warehouse inventory. 

Essential Functions and responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

·        Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, track stock, and reorder supplies as necessary to ensure availability.

·        Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments for discrepancies or damages, and process purchase orders for replenishment of stock.

·        Issue supplies, materials, and equipment to departmental staff, ensuring proper labeling and storage.

·        Utilize inventory management software to track supplies and generate reports for management review.

·        Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

·        Assist in maintaining a clean and organized supply area to facilitate efficient operations and support other departments as needed

·        any other task deemed necessary by direct supervisor

Minimum Qualifications

·        Familiarity with inventory management systems/software, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

·        Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory tracking and order processing.

·        Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to coordinate supply needs.

·        be able to work in a fast paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

·        Prior experience in inventory management or in a supply chain management related field

·        Prior experience utilizing a WMS

·        Ability to drive a pallet jack, reach truck and forklift, if needed
