Join our Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment U-2 Team at Beale AFB, California! As the Supply Field Logistics Support Representative, the selected candidate will serve as the main supply chain logistics liaison for our U-2 internal and external customers and our strategic partners. The selected candidate will function as the Lockheed Martin subject matter expert for warehouse inventory management and will be responsible for briefing senior level management on key performance indicators and supply chain metrics. Must have strong project management and interpersonal skills, and be able to work in a fast paced and fluid environment.

What You Will Be Doing

Responsible for assuring inventory sufficiency with respect to mission requirements throughout the life cycle of supported systems. Manages and controls the asset position of customer inventories, especially under the conditions of performance based logistics (PBL) and total system performance responsibility (TSPR) contracts. Makes and executes decisions for operating inventory to include suppliers, repair facilities, 3PLs and customer locations, including priority interpretation, inventory allocation and asset redistribution as necessary among sources of supply and military operating locations. Responds to military service inquiries; supports requests for proposals and provisioning determinations; understands and uses various inventory optimization models; forecasts and manages budget requirements; interfaces with company and DoD information management systems; ensures fidelity of asset identification; resolves technical and support problems for assigned classes of items by actively interfacing engineering and suppliers; prepares status reports and metrics relating to supplier performance and mission readiness.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Providing Mission Impaired Capability Awaiting Parts (MICAPS) support
  • Analyzing and resolving customer-raised Supply Chain Management (SCM) sustainment issues
  • Assist the customer with Part Number and/or National Stock Number clarification
  • Assist the customer with identifying and processing Hazmat, Shelf Life, Electronic Sensitive Devices/Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) identification, and organizational refusals
  • Providing effective material survey support and management of non-conformance/quarantine issues
  • Respond to priority customer requests required for mission support, to include after-hours support
  • Must be a US Citizen. Must possess at minimum an Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting and must be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance.

Basic Qualifications

The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:

  • Minimum of 8 years of combined experience with Supply Chain Logistics and Warehouse Inventory Management
  • Experience with Mission Impaired Capability Awaiting Parts (MICAPS) / High-priority requisition support and component repair cycle management
  • Experience with data analysis and metrics development
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Desired Skills

The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the others:

  • Prior Field Service Rep experience and/or U-2 supply operations experience
  • Experience supporting Performance Based Logistics (PBL) or Supply Chain Management concepts and performance requirements
  • Knowledge of the following management systems: SAP and government inventory management systems
  • Hazmat shipping certified
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $100200.00 - $186200.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
