About the Role
Essity is looking for an experienced Supply Planner who will be responsible for managing inventory levels needed to cover the demand across the network of distribution centers.
The ideal candidate should/could live in Appleton, WI area. Candidates could also be near another main Essity facility but the preference is Appleton, WI

What You Will Do
- Propose and create supply scenarios together with local Manufacturing and market counterparts
- Manage expected and unexpected changes in the plan, under time constraints and with limited information
- Review historical business performance in scheduling to identify specific benefits for streamlining or improving the scheduling process
- Report efficiency and adherence to the plan in order to contribute to improve production planning effectiveness
- Lead and coordinate distribution analysis and projects to drive continuous process and cost improvements.
- Monitor converting operation schedules to ensure adequate supply of finished product for inter plant transfer orders.
- Perform other essential responsibilities as deemed necessary.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related certification.
- Min. 1+ years of experience in Supply Chain
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and data-driven decision-making approach.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on operational efficiency.
- Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization. Can adapt between detailed and global views.
- Adaptability and ability to multi-task.
- Be able to work and develop in ambiguity.
- Excellent team player.
- Additional language is a plus.
- SAP or equivalent experience is advantageous.
- Excel knowledge and Power Apps is a plus.
