Job Title: Support Engineering Data Specialist 3 Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Salary Range: $40 - 45/hour

Introduction
Interprets and analyzes engineering data, reliability and maintainability data, supply chain data, and customer operations and support concepts to develop support solutions and products. This includes support analysis, provisioning solutions, spares solutions, maintenance, inspection, and support technical data. The role involves providing recommendations on product supportability and establishing operation maintenance tasks and support resources.
Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with the use of Flight series publication and forms (military/commercial derivative flight manuals)
- Flight or flight training experience (pilot, flight engineer, flight training)
- Proficiency in use of military/commercial derivative flight series manuals
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and system description documents
- Ability to work on multiple projects with varying levels of requirements efficiently and effectively
- Experience using Client Office Suite, particularly MS Word, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Must have previous client experience working for this customer in the past 5 years
Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required)
- Prior pilot, radar navigator, flight engineer, or electronic warfare officer
- Flight crew experience
- Experience using Arbortext Editor and Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML)
- Pilot's license, or military aviation experience
- Working knowledge of Military Specifications and Commercial Standards
Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role)
- Create and revise military flight documents (Aircraft Flight Manuals, Operating Manuals, Pilot Abbreviated Checklist, Operating Handbooks, Weapons Manuals, Weight & Balance)
- Collect, research, and analyze engineering source data and specifications
- Lead activities to define, document, and maintain multiple flight manuals, checklists, and crew operations procedures
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts such as system engineers, technicians, flight test engineers, pilots, and publications personnel
- Develop technical publication project plans, budgets, and baseline schedules
- Conduct peer reviews of completed publication elements, quality checks, and validation of technical publications
- Actively interface with customers to support the development and accuracy of each product you are tasked to maintain
