This position is located in Tulsa, OklahomaSupport Services Coordinator I - E12AAnnual Salary: $51,019.37 + Full state benefitTravel is EXTENSIVE- Must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required car insurance.
Work hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a 1-hour lunch or 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with a 30-minute lunch.
GENERAL FUNCTION
Under general direction, performs professional-level work involving the inspection, evaluation, and maintenance status of assets owned or leased by Oklahoma Human Services in the assigned geographical area; this includes serving as a liaison for internal and external support services; guides staff through processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of a bachelor's degree and one year of professional or technical administrative* experience in business or public administration;
- OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of qualifying experience for each year of the required education.
*Technical administrative. Experience would include highly complex clerical work gained under the direct supervision of a professional supervisor or manager.
Job Responsibilities:
- Under direction, plans, organizes, and completes the activities involving the inspection, evaluation, and maintenance status of assets owned or leased by Oklahoma Human Services in the assigned geographical area;
- This includes serving as a liaison for internal and external support services;
- Responsible for agency-wide new employee onboarding equipment deployments; standard office supply and special request orders for staff and locations agency-wide.
- Monitors contracts for services and goods in areas assigned; Primary building contact for locations in assigned areas; liaison for office equipment that utilizes OMES network connections.
Complexity of Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of public administration; of the principles of management; of personnel and fiscal management; and of basic statistical and research techniques.
- Skill in maintaining effective and satisfactory working relationships with others; in interpreting and handling routine decisions in accordance with agency policy; in dealing tactfully with internal and external parties.
- Skill in handling confidential work with tact and discretion.
- Knowledge of state leasing standards, state statutes, federal laws, rules, regulations, and guidelines relating to property management; of the methods of project management and planning; and of DHS programs and how they function.
- Ability to work independently and to coordinate a wide variety of activities; to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; to interpret and apply policies and procedures; and to translate knowledge of programs and processes into practical resolutions for assigned locations.
- Skills required include basic knowledge of computer operating systems and related equipment; of technical terminology; and of modern office practices related to the use of information systems.
- Ability is required to gather, organize, and present data effectively.
