Job Description:

Pay Range: $112,000 - $123,000 per year

Job Profile:Coordinates all activities related to nursing functions and patient care, within budgetary constraints. Adheres to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations. Supervises nursing staff that provides professional nursing care to patients. Must recognize physical, psychological, and spiritual aspects of care.

Job Description:

  • Overseesthe clinical operations for all nursing clinical support activities. 

  • Establishes andmaintainsall nursing personnel files.  

  • Ensuresall licensing and certification criteria are met. 

  • Assistswith the review and revision of clinical policies and procedures.

  • Maintains effective nursing staff coverage and operating costs for the practice and/or satellites within budgetary parameters. 

  • Participates in the interviewing and recruiting of nursing personnel. 

  • Performs tasks assigned to staff nurses as necessary Demonstrates working knowledge of applicable labor laws and schedules and coordinates employee staffing including vacations, sick leave, and overtime.

  • Monitors and evaluates patient satisfaction and quality assurance measures. 

  • Directs the correct use of charge codes and coordinates education of all staff in correct procedures per reimbursement guidelines.

  • Develops new services and activities for patients, families, and staffin accordance withpracticeserviceobjectives.

  •  Implement staff retention and training programs.

  •  Coordinates, implements, andassistswith staff training, in-services, and internal developmental programs for nursing staff. 

  • Assistswith annual performance evaluations for nursing department staff. 

  • Serves as mentor/preceptor and providesday to dayguidance to less experiencednurses.

  • Maybe required to work as frontline staff if staffingrequires

  • Other duties asassigned.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing,BSNor MSN preferred.  

  • RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.  

  • Current CPR certification.  

  • Minimum five years actively practicing as a registered nurse, including at least threeyearsoncology experience.

  •  One-year leadership experience preferred.

  • Oncology certificationpreferred.

Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
